Affiliate Disclosure
Effective September 17, 2026
Straight answer first: as of the effective date above, none of the links on CostCrossover are paid or affiliate links. Every service we point to is linked with its ordinary public web address.
If that ever changes
We may in the future join referral or affiliate programs with some of the services we mention. If we do, the paid link will be labelled right where you see it — not just on this page — with wording like:
Paid link — CostCrossover may earn a commission if you use this link, at no extra cost to you.
Any commission comes from the company, not from you: using a paid link never changes your price.
Compensation never changes the math
Our calculators use fixed formulas applied to the numbers you enter. The selling tool uses published, deterministic rules that score each option against your answers. Neither the formulas nor the scoring rules take money into account, and we will not reorder, promote, or hide an option because of a commercial arrangement.
Non-paid options stay listed
We include options that pay nothing — including donation organizations and free local marketplaces — whenever they are the sensible answer for your situation. Being unpaid is never a reason to leave something out.
Confirm current terms yourself
Fees, eligibility, service areas, and pickup options at third-party services change often and vary by location. Always confirm the current terms with the company before you commit. See also our terms and disclaimer and privacy policy.
